I 94 Expiring ?

My I94 is expiring but my Visa is still valid and my passport is also valid

1. Got an infoPass to speak to the immigration officer (USCIS)

2. The immigration office pointed out that I had to fill a form I102 (they charge you $320) for correcting the date on my I94 , I would have to attach the I94, enclose copies for Visa petition doc and copy of the passport and mail it (I102 should be available online , if not you can pay a visit to your nearest USCIS)

3. NOTE: the solution mentioned above will only work if you got your I94 from USCIS. If you had got your I94 at your POE from CBP then USCIS will not be able to fix it. This was my case .

4. Since I102 was not applicable in my case I paid a vist to the CBP office in RDU International airport

5. From there I got redirected to the POE CBP office in Morrisville (120 Southcenter Court,Suite 500,Morrisville, NC 27560)

6. I then produced the passport , I94 to the CBP officer and in 15 mins I had my new I94 attached to my passport with the right date. As simple as that :) . Saved me a lot of time and money .
